We have a well-established three-storied library at Malabar Medical College Hospital with a collection of around 11,500 books and periodicals in English and Malayalam. The library is well furnished and can accommodate 140 students at a time in the reading room.
We also have an online library with more than 300 online subscriptions, including various medical journals, 200 e-journals, and 100 e-books. The online library can accommodate 40 students at a time.
The library functions for 15 hours a day, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.

MEDLINE Complete provides access to more than 5 million authoritative medical research articles covering a wide range of subjects, including biomedicine, pre-clinical science, and health policy development. It uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree hierarchy, subheadings, and explosion capabilities for advanced search functionality across more than 5,400 biomedical journals.
It is also one of the world’s most comprehensive sources of full-text medical journals, offering full text for more than 1,800 journals indexed in MEDLINE. With coverage dating back to 1857 and full-text access from 1865, MEDLINE Complete serves as a valuable research resource for medical literature.
